About the Event
Course 5 opens our study of the "body" aspect of mind-body-spirit. We will study first the mind-body connection in terms of self care and wellness. Let's really look at the impact our thoughts, stresses and internal dialog have on our health. How do we shift this to maintain our wellbeing?
There will be a 60-minute break for a community lunch mid-session. Please bring a dish to share.
Class fee: $50
*A mind, body, spirit approach to wellness is essential to achieve the fullest sense of well-being. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your self-care practice? Are you first or last on your priority list? What practices did you begin over the last few years only to drop after a few weeks or months? Do you feel selfish for taking time for yourself, but often feel overwhelmed, overbooked, over burdened?
How would you like to create self-care that leads to greater peace of mind, sense of satisfaction, a feeling of balance ….
Within The Illuminated Path we will explore the self, the evolution of your life path and develop a practice that leads to improvement in all aspects of your day. This is an opportunity to find balance for the mind-body-spirit of you. Fitness, health, spiritual, mental and emotional well-being … it all matters equally. If one aspect of self is out of balance, it will eventually affect the rest.
A house is only as strong and stable as its foundation. In The Illuminated Path, we are diving deep into the core of being. Moving back to the basics, removing all the fluff, all the hype, and directing focus to stabilize our foundation. The only question that remains is “how much do you want to shift your life, your energy, your sense of wellness?”
You are cordially invited to begin this explorational Year of You! We will devote time and attention to understanding how we arrived at today, determine what balance looks like for us and develop a plan to get “there.”
We will take a trip around the Medicine Wheel, learn some of the old ways of self-care with herbal remedies and even create all-natural self-care products. We will study the chakras, our emotions and the impact on our physical bodies. With expert guidance in the areas of naturopathy, homeopathy, nutrition, exercise, meditation and more, we have the opportunity to find the mid-point of our pendulum swing - the pause, the still point, the place of balance.
We will extend our exploration into the spiritual self. Whether through astrology, numerology or other forms of insight we will locate and enhance our natural flow of internal guidance.
Each month we will have one class and one follow up meeting online. Throughout the month, you will have access to an online forum through which support, encouragement & answers can be found.
